April 15, 2005 - THE BASEL REPORT...

Well, we finally made it back from Switzerland. The Basel & Geneva shows were great, with lots of exciting things to share! Meanwhile, we are diligently working to catch up on all of the orders received while we were away. The last of these orders should be completely processed and shipped by Monday (4/18). We trust you were not inconvenienced and we appreciate your patience.

February 21, 2005 - The Loss of a Friend & Colleague...

It is with deep regret that I inform you of the loss of a fellow member of the Horological community. Roy Ehrhardt, a noted authority and author, passed away on November 9, 2004 from heart disease. Mr. Ehrhardt started documenting his extensive Horological knowledge in 1968, and published countless books, including a series of price guides: Vintage, American & European Wrist Watch Price Guide, which he co-wrote with Joe Demesy & Sherry Ehrhardt.

Roy was always very willing to help others in the Horological community. In fact, I spoke with him on numerous occasions when I first started publishing my own series of reference books: The Rolex Report. His advise and counsel was greatly appreciated.

We would like to pass on our condolences to the Ehrhardt family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

I think it's very important for Americans who want to give to provide cash to organizations that will be able to focus resources and assets to meet specific needs. In other words, a lot of times Americans, in their desire to help, will send blankets or clothes. That may be necessary, but to me it makes more sense to send cash to organizations that could then use that cash to make sure we match resources with specific needs on the ground. There are many NGOs now involved that understand what is specifically needed to meet the needs of these countries.

December 30, 2004 - InfoQuest Publishing finds a new home at QualityTyme.net...

In December of 2004, our primary domain changed from www.iq-enterprises.com to www.QualitYTyme.net. This new domain change included a complete facelift for the site, as well as numerous sections added, including a Top 50 Watch Sites List and a Rolex Forum. We have also added a number of new products to the site, including numerous new Watch Tools and a DVD Video Lecture: "How to Detect a Counterfeit Rolex Watch."
